Antenna for broadband base station

2006
An antenna for a broadband base station is provided to service various kinds of mobile communications at the same time by transmitting broadband frequency signals of 750 to 2880 MHz with only one antenna for many base stations. An antenna for a broadband base station includes a reflection body(10), a (+) radiator(20), a (-) radiator(20'), an attaching rod(30), and an antenna line(40). The reflection body is composed of a center round plate(11) and a sloped plate(12) extended from an edge of the center round plate. The (+) and (-) radiators are installed at a front of the reflection body and emits energy into space. The (+) and (-) radiators are composed of outer conical bodies(21,21'), inner conical bodies(22,22') symmetric with the outer conical bodies, and cylindrical bodies(23,23') extended to the inner conical bodies. The attaching rod attaches the (+) and (-) radiators and is made of a nonconductor. The antenna line includes a (+) wire connected to the (+) radiator and a (-) wire connected to the (-) radiator.
