Study on determine method of patulin in the apple juice concentrated based on SPE-HPLC

Patulin is a mold metabolite commonly encountered in decaying apples.The most of analytical methods consist of multiple liquid-liquid partition steps for the extraction of patulin in apple juice concentrated.In this study,two solid-phase extraction(SPE) techniques using C18-SPE cartridge system and a hydrophilic lipophilic balanced(HLB) macroporous copolymer sorbent cartridge were developed for the extraction of patulin in apple juice concentrated.A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method was used in this study with UV detection at 276nm.For spiking levels of 10~100μg/L,the recovery rates were 87.56%~88.4% by C18-SPE,85.45%~88.76% by HLB-SPE and 79.47%~80.1% by LLE and the coefficient variations were 3.28%~4.47%,4.32%~7.15%,6.28%~7.67%,respectively.
