Alternative approaches for simulating emergency situations in computer codes-trainers (with chemical technologies at thermal power stations taken as an example)

The emergency-situation codes-trainers created at the Water and Fuel Technology Department of MEI are presented. Two trainers developed specially for a competition of the professional skills of the operating personnel at power stations are described. Promising lines for further improvement of emergency-situation trainers are considered.
