The present invention provides: a method for producing a composite body of fibers and inorganic particles, which comprises a step for producing a composite body of fibers and inorganic particles by synthesizing inorganic particles in a solution that contains fibers, and a step for processing the composite body of fibers and inorganic particles; and a laminate which contains a composite body of fibers and inorganic particles, said composite body being obtained by this production method.
