Time-resolved X-ray absorption spectroscopy with a water-window high-harmonic source

2017
Femtosecond X-ray absorption spectroscopy is demonstrated at the carbon K-edge (290 eV) and sulfur L-edges (180–240 eV) and applied to study the photodissociation of CF 4 + and SF 6 + by element-specific core-to-valence transitions.
