Application of middleware technology to substation automation system

New problems arisen during the updating improvement of substation automation system and its reasons were analyzed,the features of middleware technology and a few typical middleware were introduced,the idea that middleware technology is used in substation automation system was presented based on the structure of substation automation system in the paper.
