EGRET observations of PKS 0528+134 from 1991 to 1997

2008
The compact, radio-loud quasar PKS 0528+134 has been one of the brightest active galactic nuclei (AGN) detected by EGRET. The flux history of the source including data up to March 1997, as well as the spectra measured during the flaring and non-flaring states is presented. Multiwavelength observations of PKS 0528+134 are also presented. A detailed relativistic SSC jet model agrees well with the multiwavelength spectrum; the data, however are insufficient to discriminate between this and other emission models.
