An SCLC model including diffusion

Abstract The characteristics of a-Si:H nin diodes exhibit space-charge-limited currents (SCLC). A numerical model for these characteristics will be outlined. It expresses the interaction of space charge, drift and diffusion of electrons injected into the i-region and allows to check the often-used drift approximation.
