Method for preparing spherical hexogon by crystallization control technology

2010
The invention relates to a method for preparing spherical hexogon, which comprises the following steps of: (1) adding a solvent and the RDX into a crystallization kettle, heating to raise the temperature for dissolution, and adding a crystallization control agent methylene nitramine, nitroethane or glycerol; (2) reducing the temperature to between 70 and 80 DEG C, adding or not adding seed crystals, and keeping the temperature for 10 to 20 minutes; and (3) reducing the temperature to room temperature (20 to 25 DEG C). The apparent density of the RDX is improved by 15 to 45 percent than that of the RDX before treatment; the viscosity of a paraffin mixed system is reduced by 20 to 50 percent, and the sensitivity (H50 value) is reduced by 20 to 50 percent.
