Thermal analysis of permanent magnet machines

The authors describe the thermal modelling of radial-field brushless permanent magnet machines using lumped parameter network analysis, with T-equivalent circuits as elementary network components. Predictions from such a model are compared with measurements for a representative brushless DC machine. >
