Systems Analysis of Water Contamination and Incentive Strategy Controlling Contaminative Problem

1988
Abstract The problem of water contamination is a very serious problem in the management of water resources. In this paper, the industrial sewage drain system is dealt with. By using the systems analysis techniques, the industrial contaminative cause is analyzed. Taking the industrial sewage drain system as a large-scale system with hierarchy, we present a Stackelberg model to illustrate this problem. Then, the Stackelberg incentive strategies for a municipal government to control the water contamination is proposed. Under these policies, the plants who yield the sewage will take the technical measures to treat the sewage.
