Cloning and expression of Taenia solium adenylate kinase.

The homologous sequence of Taenia solium's adenylate kinase(ADK) and its coding region were obtained from the cDNA library by PCR and sequenced.The PCR fragment was cloned to prokaryotic expression vector pET-28a(+) and transformed into E.coli BL21.SDS-PAGE showed that the expressed recombinant protein was about 30 ku.Western blot analysis demonstrated that the recombinant protein could react with positive serum from Taenia asiatica and Taeniarhynchus saginatus infected patient,indicating the expressed protein possessed immunological activities of adenylate kinase of T.solium.
