Study on changes and clinical significance of lymphocyte subtypes in children with infectous mononucleosis

2011
Objective To study the change characteristics of lymphocyte subtypes in children with infections mononucleosis(IM).Methods Using flow cytometric analysis detect IM peripheral blood lymphocyte subtype of 46 cases in acute period,42 cases in recovery,26 cases of follow-up and 30 cases in normal group, and compared with control groups. Results CD3+ and CD8+ cells increased significantly,CD4+ cells reduced significantly, and CD4+/CD8+ cells ratio decreased obviously(P0.01) in acute period,in recovery period,CD4+cells reduced significantly, and CD4+/CD8+ cells ratio decreased obviously(P0.01).But CD3+results have no obvious differences. The results of follow-up and normal group have no obvious differences(P0.05).Conclusions Paitents of IM who infected EB virus have great changes in peripheral blood lymphocyte subtypes. Its variation can bring obvious clinical significance to IM patients' evaluation of cellular immune function condition, auxiliary diagnosis and guide therapy.
