Relationship between structures of microbial colony in produced fluids and oil production performance in microbial flooding oil field

2013
The petroleum microbial community structure at microbial flooding pilot test field, which located at Shengli Oilfield, was studied by Terminal Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism(T-RFLP).The monitoring data were collected from the injected water and 4 oil wells.Through biodiversities calculation and cluster analysis, the differences of microbial community diversity, the changes of microbial structure over time, and especially the relationship between the diversity and oil production performance were all compared and analyzed, firstly and systematically. The results were as followings: First, microbial structures were analogical timely, which was accordance with the change of the metabolic product-acetic acid in reservoir, which all showed that microbial community analysis can represent the changes of petroleum microorganisms authentically.Second, the regulation of the process of microbial flooding test changed the endogenous microbial diversity, conformably and significantly, followed by the decrease of microbial community diversity. And it was negative correlation between petroleum microbial diversity and oil production. The analysis of microbial structure would be an effective and powerful proof to evaluate whether oil well were controlled by the microbial flooding technology.
