SET-TO-SET MAPS IN EFFICIENCY ANALYSIS OF COMPLEX SYSTEMS

2010
The article examines various set-to-set maps used in activity analysis of complex systems. The properties of these maps are then applied to compare various methods currently used for activity analysis of complex systems. It is shown that the popular techniques for complex system assessment distort system behavior, contrary to the DEA technology, which analyzes system activity in the original parameter space. The reasons for this distortion are elucidated.
