Exhaust gas recirculation apparatus

2015
Disclosed is an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus for reducing No x . An exhaust gas recirculation apparatus according to the present invention comprises a reflux part for forming a reflux path for exhaust gas recirculation from an exhaust manifold to an intake manifold of an engine. The reflux part comprises: a reflux jacket on one side of a cylinder head of the engine, the reflux jacket having an inlet communicating with a reflux tube of the exhaust manifold; an EGR valve unit mounted on an outlet side of the reflux jacket; and a pipe unit for connecting the EGR valve unit and a flange of the intake manifold to each other. One gasket having a reflux hole formed therein is interposed between each of the components constituting the reflux part, wherein the reflux hole of the gasket is formed to have a diameter identical to or smaller than the inner diameter of a joint part between each of the components where the gasket is installed. The EGR valve unit is configured as a temperature-sensitive valve which is operated by a heat source from the engine so as to regulate reflux of exhaust gas through the reflux part.
