Guarantee the Security of Insurance Industry and Promote the Development of Financial Economy

The author maintains that the insurance industry is playing an important role in economic compensation, financing and social risk management and shouldering the responsibility of guaranteeing national financial security and economic security as one of the important industries in modern economy, the important pillar industry for modern finance industry and the important components of social security system. It is not only the social stabilizer but also the booster for economic development as one of the important forces in guaranteeing financial security. At present, the insurance industry in China is in good shape. The author puts forward that, because security of the insurance industry is a dynamic process, so, to improve the mechanism for guarding against and defusing insurance risk and protecting the interest of the holder of insurance policy, we should improve policies and measures for promoting the sustainable development, improve supervision for insurance and establish a long-term mechanism for guaranteeing the security of insurance industry.
