A Case of Follicular Mucinosis

A 21-year-old man presented with an 8-year history of infiltrated plaque and alopecia of the scalp. Histopathology from the scalp showed accumulation of mucin located adjacent to the follicle, and a toluidine blue stain showed the mucin was prunosus. Diagonosis of follicular mucinosis was made based on histopathological findings.
