The maxillo-facial wounded must be evacuated to a specialized center. It is a need ; it must not become a «throw-out». Any doctor may be confronted to these frequent lesions because of some possible complication or some peticular circumstances. The surgical intervention is then required. The steps to be carried out are simple, well codified, and they do not need any precise instrumentation. After an anatomical and anatomo-pathological reminder, the authors consider the rules to be followed : - to treat asphyxic troubles and haemorrhages, - to look for possible associated lesions, - to prevent the shock, the infection, the oedema, - to prepare local treatment, - to evacuate to a specialized center It is a programme to be realised and not a new qualification to be granted.
