The invention belongs to the field of fluid mechanics and flow state transition, and particularly relates to an experiment and measurement system used for a pulsating flow state transition visualization research. The experiment and measurement system used for the pulsating flow state transition visualization research comprises four parts including a water branch, a colorant branch, an experiment section and a collection system. The water branch comprises a water tank provided with a blow-off pipe, a centrifugal pump, a check valve, a frequency converter, a thermometer and a flow meter. The colorant branch comprises an injection feedback valve, a colorant injection device and an injection control valve. The experiment section comprises a test section, a differential pressure transmitter and an injection syringe needle. The collection system comprises a high definition camera, a computer and a set of data acquisition panels. According to the experiment and measurement system, the frequency converter and the centrifugal pump are combined for simulating pulsating flow in actual industrial equipment and systems. By the adoption of the method in combination with generation of sine waves and cosine waves, any actual pulsating flow working condition can be simulated conveniently and rapidly, and the construction cost is low.
