Potencialidades para la gestión sociocultural en el municipio Manzanillo

Introduction: the socio-cultural dimension is consubstantial to the processes of community development, understood as transformative social practice. Objective: to identify the main problems for sociocultural management in Manzanillo municipality. Method: a descriptive study was performed to identify the main problems for socio-cultural management in Manzanillo municipality. It was made an internal and external analysis using the DAFO methodology. Results: Manzanillo municipality has potentialities and strengths to create new activities and products as part of the alternatives that can contribute to the local development from the socio-cultural dimension. Conclusions : identification of suitable alternatives allows the socio-cultural management for the development of the municipality.
