Icariin improves memory impairment in Alzheimer's disease model mice (5xFAD) and attenuates amyloid β-induced neurite atrophy

Icariin, isolated from Epimedii herba, was investigated to assess its potential to improve memory impairment in Alzheimer's disease. It was found to improve spacial memory impairment and extend neurites in mice.
