RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SPECIAL SOFT FERRITIC STAINLESS STEEL

A soft ferritic stainless steel was introduced which could be manufactured for the commemorative and entertaining coin.According to the requirement for the service performance,the steel composition was designed and the production process was studied.The test results showed this material had proper hardness,free of ridging defect on the surface,and had a stronger corrosion resistance to chloride than that of SUS430 steel.
