Open Pore Polymer Structures: A Review
1979
Abstract Foams are colloidal systems containing a gas as the dispersed phase. The continuous phase may be liquid or solid. Foams possess a very large interfacial area. Conventional foams consist of a porous structure having more or less regular unit cells, either open or closed, which are usually formed by generating a gas in a polymerizing resin matrix.
