La organización textual aplicada a la didáctica de la traducción
2008
Textual knowledge at an intuitive level is the first phase in our approach to a text, and it is therefore the basis on which the specialized textual knowledge of the professional translator is constructed. Using as an example a subclass of text belonging to Contracts, we propose the segmentation of a text as a working strategy in the interpretative and productive activity of a translator, taking data about the text and its different levels as our starting point. We attempt to show the importance of textual levels and their order of priority in the process of interpretation and production of a text. Addressing the subject from the point of view of translation teaching, we focus our attention on thematic development (the level of semantic content).
