The influence of capillary hysteresis effects on the humidity and heat coupled transfer in a non-saturated porous medium

Abstract Taking into account the capillary hysteresis effects a mathematical model for mass and heat coupled transfers in non-saturated porous media is used for the numerical simulation of the transfer processes in a closed sand cell and in a cellular concrete wall. The influence of the capillary hysteresis and of the value ( ∂ψ / ∂T ) ω are brought to the fore.
