The invention relates to a monitoring device for liquid metal fluid. The invention provides a mutual inductance type monitoring device for liquid metal in a pipeline to solve the problem in monitoring high-temperature liquid metal in a pipeline. The device comprises a primary coil, a secondary coil, a sine alternating current source, and a signal receiving and processing system. A wire rod of each of the primary coil and the secondary coil is of a three-layer structure, wherein the innermost layer is a nickel lead, the middle layer is a magnesium oxide insulating layer and the surface layer is a stainless steel cladding case. The primary coil is powered by the sine alternating current source. The secondary coil is connected to the signal receiving and processing system. The monitoring device is capable of monitoring liquid metal in a pipeline without directly contacting the liquid metal, can stand high temperature for a long period of time, has the advantages of high monitoring accuracy and high sensitivity, good reliability, long service life, simple structure, convenient operation or the like, and can be applied to monitoring liquid metal in pipelines in many fields.
