KEMAMPUAN MENYUSUN KOMENTAR TERHADAP CERITA RAKYAT PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 CUKUH BALAK TANGGAMUS TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

The problems in this thesis relate to students' ability to compile comments on legendary folklore. The folklore analyzed is folklore entitled 'Lake Ngebel'. The purpose of the study was to find out and describe the ability to compile the intended comment by looking at aspects of the study including relevant content, systematic organization, and the use of good and correct language. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. The study population was only 20 students. Data collection techniques with the ability to compile comments on stories will use basic techniques and complementary techniques. Based on the analysis, the results of the study show that the ability to comment on the folklore of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Cukuh Balak Tanggamus Academic Year 2018/2019 shows that it is fully successful because the average score achieved is 70 in sufficient capacity.Factors that cause students to get a score of 70 because they still lack the ability of students to write comments using good and correct language.
