Influence of frequency on dielectric and electrical behavior of ZnMn2O4

Abstract In this paper we report the influence of frequency on dielectric and electrical properties of ZnMn2O4 spinel from 323 K to 773 K temperature. The ZnMn2O4 spinel was prepared by a wet chemical co-precipitation technique and calcined at 773 K. The real part of permittivity e′ is found to decrease with increase in frequency whereas, dielectric loss increases with increasing temperature. The Ac conductivity increases with increase in temperature and impedance Z′ is found to decrease with increasing temperature.
