WITHDRAWN: Dataset of woody debris wood density and carbon concentration across decay classes in tropical Taiwan

Wood density and carbon concentration are the two major parameters needed for carbon pool estimation. However, the two parameters are rarely measured in tropical forests. In this dataset, physical properties (wood density) and chemical properties (i.e. carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen concentration) of woody debris across decay classes in tropical Taiwan were presented. The decay classes of woody debris were subjectively classified into five classes. Based on the dataset, a more precise estimation of carbon stocks in woody debris across decay classes can be obtained.
