Critical exponents of FeBO3

A sample of FeBO3 containing 1‐5 μm diameter platelets was prepared. Magnetic measurement were made using a vibrating coil magnetometer and fields of 0.1 to 5 kOe. Data analysis included the effect of crystallite alignment and corrections for the small demagnetizing field. The Curie temperature was found to be 347.85±0.2 K. The critical exponents and the temperature ranges used for their determination are as follows: γ=1.38±0.08, 1.002
