Method and device for repairing broken wire of strand of steel wire rope

The invention relates to a device for repairing a broken wire of a strand of a steel wire rope. The device comprises a broken wire pressing mould, a mould box, a screw rod, a roller, a ribbon wire base and a pin shaft, wherein the ribbon wire base is fixed on a wiring device of a rope twisting machine; the mould box is arranged on the ribbon wire base; the broken wire pressing mould is flatly arranged in the mould box, and is pressed by the screw rod; the roller is connected with the ribbon wire base by the pin shaft. The device is arranged on the wiring device of the rope twisting machine and is used for repairing the broken wire of the strand on a traction wheel or a take-up wheel; the repaired strand of the steel wire rope passes through the broken wire pressing mould, the broken wire pressing mould is extruded by the screw rod, and the strand of the steel wire rope can be molded again, so that the repairing quality of the steel wire rope is improved, and the service performance of the steel wire rope is improved.
