1967
Abstract The pathologic characteristics of postcurettage intrauterine adhesions are described on the basis of 6 hysterectomy specimens manifesting these lesions. The clinical symptoms and results are given for 107 other cases observed in the Endocrinology and Sterility Department of the Hospital. Theoretical mechanisms for the causation of the amenorrhea and other menstrual anomalies are described. The results, with respect to relation of the menstrual cycle and the recovery of fertility are presented.
