Kinetic features of photocuring of oligomeric formulations in the presence of disperse dyes

The kinetics of consumption of double bonds, photoinitiators, and dyes in photocuring of formulations based on oligourethane methacrylate and trimethylolpropane triacrylate was studied. The kinetic parameters and quantum efficiencies of the processes were determined. The contributions from shielding and inhibition to the total polymerization deceleration by the dyes were estimated. The curing of dyed formulation and dye consumption were analyzed in relation to the structural features of the photoinitiators and dyes.
