Feira agroecológica no Centro de Agroecologia Rio Seco CEARIS – UEFS: nas trilhas dos produtos da agricultura familiar local

The present report is in the municipality of Amelia Rodrigues where the nucleus of studies in agroecology Nea-Trilhas is located. Based on a demand from the farmers in the surrounding communities who pointed out the need and the problem that was the flow of the production of these farmers, often made difficult by the action of middlemen that block the self-confidence of these farmers. In order to minimize this problem, the members of Nea Trilhas were discussing strategies with the farmers to solve the problem. The collective implantation of an agroecological fair with the purpose of draining the production of the farmers' network was formed through the interaction between students of the agronomy course of the Feira de Santana State University, Nea-Trilhas and family farmers in the surroundings of the Center of Rio Seco Cearis Agroecology of the UEFS, more specifically in the rural area of ​​the municipalities of Amelia Rodrigues, Conceicao do Jacuipe and Santo Amaro in Bahia. The implementation of the fair is being a collective construction in which reciprocity relations such as the mutiroes are moments of effective participation of farmers and students. The experience of building the fair has been taking place since September 2018, with a weekly stay forecast starting in August 2019.
