친환경 건설을 위한 친환경 시방서 작성 가이드라인 구축에 관한 연구

Energy and environmental issues in the building industry were raised when the toxic chemical problems and oil embargo were happened in 1960s and 1970s. In addition, the building industry realized the importance of sustainability and green building since the industry could have strong opportunities to reduce energy consumption and environment`al issues in building. To successfully implement green building strategies, the development of green building specification is one of key success factors along with green building drawings. However, there is a limitation in the building industry in South Korea. Therefore, this research develops a standard guideline to develop a specification for green building in South Korea. This research is going to help an architect and a contractor to develop a green building documents and implement green building for a project. Through a green building specification, it is possible to achieve the goals of sustainability in the construction industry.
