The invention provides a low-cost PVC extrusion column and a preparation method thereof. The low-cost PVC extrusion column comprises the following cost in parts by weight: 100 parts of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, 60-110 parts of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), 8-14 parts of a PVC anti-impact processing modifier (ACM), 0.2-0.5 part of polyethylene (PE) wax, 1-3 parts of calcium stearate (Ca(Sa)2), 0.5-2 parts of zinc stearate (Zn(St)2), 1-4 parts of hydrotalcite (Mg(Zn)Al-CO3-LDHs) and 0.04-0.1 part of a toner. The provided PVC extrusion column is good in mechanical properties and processing property and relatively low in production cost.
