A location-related display system comprises a mobile device and an HMD that can communicate with the mobile device. The mobile device comprises: a location acquisition unit for acquiring location information; a first azimuth acquisition unit for acquiring first azimuth information indicating a direction; a mobile device-side display unit for displaying, based on the location information and first azimuth information, a content referred to the mobile device; a mobile device-side communication unit for communicating with the HMD; a means for receiving second azimuth information, which indicates the direction of the HMD, via a mobile device-side communication means; and a display content processing means for acquiring, based on the location information and second azimuth information, a display content referred to the HMD and for transmitting the display content to the HMD via the mobile device-side communication means. The HMD comprises: a second azimuth acquisition unit for acquiring second azimuth information; an HMD-side communication unit for communicating with the mobile device; a means for transmitting the second azimuth information to the mobile device via an HMD-side communication means; a means for receiving the display content transmitted by the mobile device; and an HMD-side display unit for displaying the display content.
