The Optics in Physics textbooks

espanolEste articulo tiene como finalidad conocer y analizar si los libros de texto de Fisica de 2o de Bachillerato recogen, y en que medida, cuestiones decisivas para un aprendizaje constructivo de la Optica, siendo este un tema esencial en el curriculo de esta etapa educativa. Desde una metodologia cualitativa, se ha empleado el analisis de contenido para la revision de trece libros de texto de acuerdo con tres bloques compuestos por 25 indicadores relacionados con: a) el modelo de vision de Kepler; b) la historia de la optica; y c) los obstaculos en la comprension de los conceptos basicos por parte de los estudiantes. Hemos constatado que los textos analizados ofrecen un tratamiento empirista de los fenomenos opticos y no tienen en cuenta la revision historica para la identificacion de posibles obstaculos que puede encontrar el alumnado para su aprendizaje. EnglishThis article aims to know and analyze if the textbooks of Physics 2nd Baccalaureate collect, and to what extent, decisive issues for a constructive learning of the Optics. This is an essential topic in the curriculum of this educational stage. From a qualitative methodology, content analysis has been used for the review of thirteen textbooks according to three blocks of indicators related to: a) Kepler's vision model; b) the history of optics; and c) obstacles that may impede the understanding of basic concepts by students. We have found that the analyzed texts offer an empiricist treatment of optical phenomena and do not take into account the historical review for the identification of possible obstacles that students may encounter for their learning
