Provided are quantum dots passivated with oligomers or polymers which are formed by a reaction of a first monomer having three or more thiol groups (-SH) at a terminal with a second monomer comprising two or more functional groups that can react with the thiol groups at the terminal, and a spacer group located between the two or more functional groups.
