This study analyzes the differences in recognition of hair dressers’ outer images based on the demographic skills of the customers, and aims to provide the basic information of what outer image a hairdresser should mainly possess for the hair salons to satisfy their main customers. For study’s methods, the demographic traits and the usage of hair salons by customers were observed along with outer images of appearances, language, and clothing in a demographic manner, with self-administered questionnaire to by further analyzed through SPSS 21.0. As a result, based on the components of outer images such as appearances, languages, and clothing, demographic differences were observed and proved that the different demographics traits differentiated the recognition of hairdressers’ outer images, concluding that the recruitment of hairdressers with the images of appearances, languages, and clothing that were preferred and satisfactory was needed as an improvement. To focus on the needed improvement based on the results, the gender, age, and marital status of customers that used the hair salon need to be analyzed and recruitment of employees that have the proper images of language fit for each age group along with their education in the significance of clothing must be conducted.
