The present investigation arises from the interest of observing the way in which
Appreciative conversations may be associated with the emergence of stories of resilience
facing emotional distress ”and that lead to the co-construction of possible stories of
resilience in students and academic advisors of the Music Studies career of
the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. For this, a qualitative study was carried out
with 14 participants, 8 music students who had completed more than the third semester
and 6 professors with academic advisory duties. Group interviews were conducted with
Appreciative look based on four categories in order to know the different stories
of "emotional discomfort" and resilience alternatives in their university context; to the light
of the research, a proposal of an appreciative look is proposed in front of the
accompaniment of music students so that stories of
resilience towards effective and efficient alternative solutions for students of
music
