Congenital ocular motor apraxia: An inter‐disciplinary approach to educational intervention

Abstract Assessment of cognitive, language, perceptual, sensory‐motor, and academic skills was undertaken with two brothers diagnosed as having Ocular Motor Apraxia. A coordinated approach was adopted by support personnel who consisted of an educational psychologist, remedial teacher, occupational therapist and speech therapist. A program of activities designed to meet both boys' individual needs was developed and initial evaluation of progress in reading and spelling is reported.
