The academia in majority of the professional disciplines is light years behind the industry that has been galloping at unimaginable pace leading to more distance between the industry needs and academic outputs. The problem becomes more acute in developing economies where the newspapers are generally smeared by headlines screaming of the lack of employable youth in the country.
