Driving a light source

There is a circuit for driving a light source provided with a voltage divider (104, 105), with an analog-to-digital converter (101) which is connected on the output side to the voltage divider (104, 105), wherein a dividing ratio of the voltage divider ( 104, 105) is adjustable, wherein the light source (via the divider ratio of voltage divider 104, 105) is controllable. Furthermore, a corresponding method and a device are proposed comprising such a circuit.
