The invention relates to the field of food processing in daily life and in particular relates to a first broth rice cake and a preparation method thereof. The first broth rice cake comprises rice cake wrapper made of rice and middle coated stuffing, wherein the raw materials of the rice cake wrapper made of rice comprise polished round-grained rice and sticky rice; the stuffing of the rice cake refers to fresh meat preserved szechuan pickle chive stuffing, fresh meat celery stuffing and fresh meat corn and pea stuffing; and the stuffing also comprises soybean sauce, salt, monosodium glutamate, white spirit and seasoning powder. According to the rice cake, the polished round-grained rice refers to the main component, the polished round-grained rice is high in content of proteins, fat and vitamins, and the rice cake is suitable for being eaten by middle aged and elderly people. Meanwhile, the rice cake is provided with the stuffing, can be poached, steamed, stir-fried, fried, decocted and cooked in the hotpot, and different dietary requirements can be met. Compared with the traditional fried and stir-fried rice cakes, the first broth rice cake disclosed by the invention can be eaten under the less oil condition, is healthy and is diversified in eating methods and tastes.
