The invention discloses a quantum bar, a manufacturing method for the quantum bar and a display panel. The quantum bar comprises a core and a shell, wherein the core is covered by the shell and a high-conductivity material layer is covered on the core and/or shell. Through the surface treatment for promoting the conductivity in the re-compounding process or after the compounding process of the quantum bar, the driving voltage of the quantum bar is reduced and the power consumption is reduced. The quantum bar is rotated when the voltage is applied, so that the adjustment for the optical property of CELL is realized. The surface treatment for promoting the conductivity is performed on the quantum bar, the conductivity of the quantum bar after the surface treatment is increased by 180% and the driving voltage is greatly reduced.
