The European Media Pluralism Monitor: Bridging Law, Economics and Media Studies as a First Step Towards Risk-Based Regulation in Media Markets

at the Workshop on Competition Policy and Regulation in Media Markets (Tilburg University, The Netherlands, 4–5 June 2009) and at the 27th Annual Research Conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) (National Autonomous University of Mexico, 21–24 July 2009). The working paper was based on contributions from the key experts and principal investigators on the study team, but has been substantially rewritten and updated by Peggy Valcke, Professor of Media and Communications Law at KU Leuven and Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law & ICT (ICRI), and Robin Kerremans, legal researcher at the ICRI.
