Small-angle thermal neutron scattering spectrometer (WIT)

Abstract This paper describes the configuration of a new TOF (time of flight) small-angle neutrron scattering (SANS) spectrometer named WIT installed at the pulsed thermal neutron source (KENS). Several instrumental devices such as the slit systems for thermal neutrons, the annular glass scintillator detectors, beam line and transmission monitors and a beam stopper were developed.
