Successful pregnancy outcome in a woman with large uterine intramural myoma.

2005
A successful elective cesarean section was performed in a 31 year old primigravida with a large fundal myoma and a healthy male child of 3000g was delivered. Myomectomy wasn't performed during the section due to inaccessiblity of the myoma. After the puerperal involution myomectomy was still impossible and hysterectomy became necessary three months later due to uncontrollable bleeding and pain.
